Ask yourself if someone else is causing harm to others when you observe them engaging in behavior that seems odd or that you disapprove of.
You should probably leave and keep your mouth shut if the response is âno.â You have no right to dictate what is best for other people, particularly if you havenât bothered to inquire as to the reasons behind their decisions.
You could view the entire scenario differently if you bothered to ask.
Two eight-year-old twins, a ten-year-old, and a trio of five-year-old triplets make up Phoebe Kannistoâs six sons. All six of the boys in the family, who reside in Chewtowaga, New York, had extremely long hair until recently
One example of something that doesnât have an adverse effect on other people is hair length and style. We should all respect that itâs a personal decision. As long as someone is content with their hairdo, it doesnât matter if you like it or not.
If someone made fun of your appearance, how would you feel?
Unfortunately, a lot of people donât seem to grasp this basic idea and feel compelled to comment on everything, including some young boysâ hair.
When the six lads were growing out their long hair, they were all teased for it. Bullying wasnât limited to children their age, either; adults also made the harsh remarks and unwarranted, unfair judgments. And grownups ought to be more aware!
A unique explanation
All of those bullies were unaware that these boys had a unique cause for growing out their hair. Some of the boys were close in age, and they lost a family friend to cancer. They wanted to help because they were touched by their friendâs passing.
As a result, the six brothers made the decision to grow out their hair and give it to Children with Hair Loss, a nonprofit. After several months, the lads finally managed to donate 17 feet of hair!
