BREAKING NEWS: CBS Picks Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Megyn Kelly for New Daytime Show to Rival ‘The View’

The Morning Right, a new conservative talk program hosted by CBS and starring Megyn Kelly and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, is upending daytime television. The show, which is scheduled to debut in early 2025, intends to provide conservative viewpoints a forum and take aim at ABC’s The View. CBS is relying on Hasselbeck and Kelly’s celebrity to draw in viewers looking for different viewpoints by fusing political analysis, cultural conversations, and well-known interviews.

Kelly, a former Fox News and NBC anchor, contributes a sizable fan base and keen interviewing abilities, while Hasselbeck, a former co-host of The View and Fox & Friends, is renowned for her loud conservatism. Both are keen to promote civil discourse in place of the contentious arguments that are frequently featured on The View.

Regular shows like “The Pulse of America” and “Heritage Spotlight” will spotlight significant conservative women and discuss important social problems. In an effort to reach the underrepresented conservative audience, CBS executives refer to the program as “a movement.”

Conservative pundits have hailed the show, while detractors caution that it could exacerbate media divide. Given The View’s dwindling viewership, CBS’ audacious move could revolutionize daytime television; it remains to be seen if it will be a success or a divisive gamble.
